If you’re unable to see a brief/form, this could be due to a number of different factors.
Below are some common reasons:
- Permissions Settings: You may not have the necessary permission level to view this brief/form
- Pending Approval: If there is an approval workflow applied to your brief/form, you will not be able to view the brief in the database while it is pending approval (or if approval is declined)*
- Brief in Draft: If drafts have been enabled on the database, you may not be able to see brief/form in draft mode depending on the setup of platform
- Not Named in Brief: If the database uses our “Auto Assign User as Group Permission” feature, this allows users to view briefs only if they have been specifically “named” in the brief/form
*A brief/form pending approvals can be accessed by the requestor, brief reviewers, or any Main Administrator(s) or Approval Administrator(s) in the “Approvals” area of your platform
If you feel you should have the ability to view a particular brief, but can’t, you may want to check with your Main Administrator(s) of the platform, who will be able to verify that the relevant settings were enabled appropriately.
