This article addresses common questions about the Content Risk Reviews Add-in for Microsoft Word.

What's the difference between a local review and sending to IntelligenceBank?

  • Local review only checks your document for issues - nothing is saved to IntelligenceBank
  • Send to IntelligenceBank checks your document AND uploads it to create or update a record

Why can't I see certain databases?

You can only see databases that:

  • Have Risk Review fields enabled
  • You have permission to access
  • Are configured for the add-in

Why can't I create a new record in some databases?

Only the default database allows you to create new records directly from the add-in. For other databases, you must select an existing record to update.

What types of risks does the add-in check for?

The add-in checks for:

  • Compliance and legal risks
  • Brand consistency issues
  • Spelling and grammar errors
  • High-risk phrases

Why are some filter values read-only?

When you select an existing record, the filters show the values already set for that record. These cannot be changed from the add-in to maintain data consistency.

What happens to dismissed risks?

Dismissed risks are hidden from your current view but are saved in the History tab. They remain dismissed if you save and reopen the document later.

Can multiple people review the same document?
