Data Flow and Processing

When using the Content Risk Reviews Add-in, your data follows this secure path:

1. Authentication:
   • You log in to your IntelligenceBank account via secure browser-based authentication
   • Credentials are never stored in the Add-in itself
2. Content Review:
   • When you click the 'Review Document' button, the Add-in:
     • Collects the text from your current Word document
     • Captures the document structure and formatting information
     • Securely sends this data to IntelligenceBank's Content Risk Reviews service
   • The native document (.docx) is also sent to the Content Risk Reviews service
   • All data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS)
3. Results Return:
   • Compliance check results are securely returned to the Add-in
   • Results are displayed in the Add-in panel
   • No content is stored on external servers after processing is complete
4. IntelligenceBank Submission (when using "Send to IntelligenceBank"):
   • Your document is uploaded to your IntelligenceBank platform
   • The document becomes subject to your organization's IntelligenceBank security policies
   • Access is restricted based on your organization's permission settings
