Facial Recognition: Enhancing Image Tagging

Facial Recognition streamlines tagging through automatic face recognition in images, ensuring ensuring accurate tagging and enhancing search capabilities for specific individuals.

How to get started with Facial Recognition 

Facial Recognition is included in Asset Intelligence packages

1. Turn the Asset Intelligence setting on in Admin settings
2. Accept the T & Cs
3. Enable Facial Recognition 

How to use Facial Recognition within the IntelligenceBank platform?

1. During Single or Bulk Upload
2. On the Edit/New Version screen

1. Navigate to the Tags section when on the Upload or Edit page
2. Turn the “Auto-tag“ toggle on for all or the required tags 
3. Click on "Save" or "Submit"

Auto-tags will be processed in the background after saving and displayed on the Info Preview screen when processing is completed.

Already known faces will be automatically tagged and will appear, if a face is not yet known a Unknwon indictor will appear. You can click on the Training Centre from Info Preview, Edit or Bulk Edit pages as well as using the Training Centre Bulk Action if you've selected multiple images to go to the Training Centre. In the Training Centre you can name unknown faces, once named any other images in the platform with the same face will be tagged. 

You can access this feature during Single or Bulk Upload, as well as on the Edit/New Version screen.

To get started, navigate to the Tags section within the Upload or Edit page. Here, you can toggle on the "Auto-tag" option on the Faces field. 

The system will process auto-tags in the background, and once completed, they will be displayed on the Info Preview screen.

For known faces, automatic tagging will occur seamlessly. In case a face is unfamiliar, an "Unknown" indicator will be shown. You have the option to access the Training Centre from Info Preview, Edit, or Bulk Edit pages. Additionally, if you've selected multiple images, you can use the Training Centre Bulk Action to efficiently manage bulk training.

Within the Training Centre, you can assign names to unknown faces. Once a face is named, any other images on the platform featuring the same face will be tagged accordingly.
