There are a few different ways you can review, proof, and provide feedback on a video..
You can use a Feedback request for an existing video, or submit a new video for Publish approval, Record File approval, or the General Markup Comments. All of these options have the ability to use markup comments and annotations to provide feedback.
Feedback Requests:
Feedback requests allow you to make comments on and add new versions of a video that already exists within your asset library.
Publish Approvals, Record File Approvals, General Markup Comments:
Publish approvals, Record File approvals, and General Markup Comments also allow you to utilise the markup comments and annotations, but have the option to add revisions of the video instead of a new version. This distinction is because the video involved has not yet been published into your asset library, and is not a finalised product.
Please refer to the, “How do I request approval on an asset?” article to better understand how Publish and Record File approvals are initiated.
*Please Note: Not all platforms or folders will have these types of approvals.
**The Record File approvals and General Markup comments are specific to our MOPS feature - you will not see these options if your package does not include Databases or Forms.
Please contact your platform’s administrator if you have questions about if your platform utilises these approval features.
