A Page Category provides a way to Group multiple Drag & Drop Pages or groups of Pages together. Within a Page Category you can set a custom order and only assigned Pages and Sub-pages will be displayed.
To manage your Pages using Page Categories, follow these steps:
- In the Page Builder, navigate to the Page Navigation Panel.
- Next to the All Pages switch is a More menu, click this and,
- Click the "Add Page Category" option (as pictured below)
- In the popup which appears (pictured below), Enter a Category Name which will help users identify it and click Add.
- Navigate to a Page and via the More menu assign it to a Page Category (as demonstrated below). Any sub-pages will automatically be added.
- Navigate to the new Page Category via the All Pages dropdown at the top of your Page list where you can view Pages within that Category and re-order them as required.
To note:
- All Pages and Sub-Pages will appear in the All Pages list.
- The All Pages list and each category has its own custom order. This includes the order of Sub-Pages.
- Pages can only be assigned to one Page Category.
- Sub-Pages are grouped with their parent Pages and cannot be assigned separately.
- If no Page is assigned to a custom Page Category, the Page Category menu will be hidden from the left-side panel when the Pages are being viewed by the end user.
