Setting a Default Kanban field

Within the Kanban view of Records, you are able to manually change the Kanban field on-the-fly, with the record display instantly updating. 

To set a default Kanban field, which will prevent users from having to select a field each time they log in, a user with at least Manage permission on the Database can set a Default Kanban field.

Note: The only fields that can be selected as the default Kanban field are Single Select or Radio Button fields.

To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Database settings page 
  2. If required, select Kanban as the Default Layout
  3. Select the new Default Kanban Field in the related dropdown
  4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to Save your new default
