Making A Filter Group Mandatory Or Optional

In order to make a Filter Group mandatory upon creation you will be prompted with a check box called Required located directly under the Name box. If checked then users will be required to select a value for this filter when updating items.

If you wish to make an existing filter group mandatory you must go through Admin > Filters and check the Required box under the Name of the filter.
