How to Restrict Filters to Selected Resource Folders

To restrict filters to specific folders, follow these steps:

Go to Admin > Filters. Select the filter you wish to restrict.
Ensure Resources is selected, then click the Restrict button to open the sidebar.
In the Filter Range, select Restricted. Then, choose the folders or sub-folders for which you want to enable this filter.
You can select Auto-propagate Restrictions to Sub-Folders to apply your selection downwards. This includes changing a parent folder from selected to blank.
Save your changes after selecting or deselecting folders to apply the changes.
If your parent folder is already deselected and you want to propagate its empty values down, select it, save, then deselect it with Auto-propagate Restrictions to Sub-Folders enabled, and save again.

Once saved, this filter will not appear on any folders other than those selected. This applies to both folder view and when adding or editing resources. However, it will still be visible in the Resources Root Folder.

If files within folders where the restricted filter has not been applied were already tagged with filters before this change, they will still appear when filtering with these values.

*Note that only admin users have the ability to restrict filters.
